AMAZING LOVE
John 15: 13>13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
I have thought of it countless times but I have found no answer. It’s so powerfully wonderful that no human imagination will truly find how great this love is. What is the most fragile but extremely important asset of us mortals? Is it not our lives? But we valued it less when we sold it to Satan in exchange of death. The very day a green leaf fell and turned pale, the day when herbivores turned to cannibals, when peace and serenity turned into chaos, when blood froze and flesh turned into clay. How sad the soul felt because it was a day of mourning, this is the day when man disobeyed his Maker, Creator, God and King. The righteous loving father never left his disobedient children to suffer in the wilderness. He has already created a hope amid the storm and that was to bridge the gap for his creation to come back to him again to enjoy the fullness and beauty of his kingdom. Our sentence was eternal death but our creator love is so deep to see us perish. Nevertheless, while we couldn’t pay for our sins, he paid the biggest price to redeem us again to himself. Have you ever sat down to think about how great a parent love is, yet we sometimes leave our children to wander away and perish. God sent his only begotten son to die for sins he never committed just to safe us, his creation. This has been my thought for countless times about this “Amazing Love of a King” and I have pledge allegiance to the king to also love him forever. What about you? Think about it for a moment, for days and for years and His Holy Spirit will give you the understanding of this Amazing Love of God. May God almighty bless us as we heed to His word, love our neighbors and Him God. Amen.
